Site work, paving, outdoor lighting and renovation of a mixed-use development in Marble Falls, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of furnishing and installing and providing all labor and materials required for construction of the park improvements, including hardscape, softscape, layout, grading, building improvements, electrical and miscellaneous items. Construction plans and bid documents will be available beginning October 28, 2022 on the City's website. All costs shall be the responsibility of the entity requesting documents. Bids not accompanied by cashier's check or bid bond will not be considered. The date, time and place for the pre-bid conference, if to be held, are specified below and in Section #00100, Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified cashier's check, drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, payable to the City of Marble Falls in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into. In lieu of cash or a certified check, the Bidder may submit a bid bond in the form prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds, when required, shall be executed on forms furnished by OWNER. Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount by a solvent surety or insurance company licensed to do business in the State of Texas and as specifically prescribed in the General Conditions and Supplemental Conditions. Minimum insurance requirements are specified in the General Conditions and Supplemental Conditions. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors shall pay to laborers, workmen, and mechanics the prevailing wage rates as required by the Supplemental Conditions. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive minor technicalities, and to award a contract or contracts which, in the opinion of the Owner, appear to be in its best interest. A minor technicality is one that does not affect the competitiveness of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to hold any or all proposals for the period of time from the opening of bids as specified in Section 00300, Bid Form.
