Renovation of an educational facility in Westville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of November 11, 2022, this project has been awarded to Alvarez Industrial Cleaning in the amount of $208,385.73. General description of work to be performed: 1. Resurface all corridor and bathroom floors at Westville High School generally located from the cafeteria to the north hallway exits (approximately 19,750 sq. ft.). 2. Grind all existing flooring in preparation of new flooring products to be applied. 3. Patch all flooring areas where underlying damage is present with Ardex repair and mortar. 4. Apply Amerlock epoxy floor paint and Torginol floor flakes to cover all flooring surfaces uniformly and completely. 5. Install a six-foot by six-foot school logo in the main foyer per the design provided by owner. 6. Apply Durethane DTM clear coat sealer uniformly and completely cover all epoxy covered flooring surfaces. 7. Remove, dispose, and replace all rubber cove base along the perimeter of all epoxy floors (approximately 2,700 linear feet). Westville School District #2 is seeking bids to install epoxy flooring in the hallways at Westville High School. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any bid received.
