Without limiting the project scope, which is described in detail in the Contract Documents, the Work involves removal of the existing pedestrian bridges and installation of replacement bridges at locations listed in Drawings. It is expected that the construction for the current list of bridges will be completed by the end of 2023. The City reserves the right to add additional locations during the Contract should a bridge be identified as requiring rehabilitation or replacement. Bidders must be able to demonstrate: - They have successfully completed a minimum of three projects of similar size, scope and complexity to that described in the Specifications in the last five (5) years, including a minimum of one project involving 'jacking' of the superstructure; - They have a health and safety program in place; - They are bondable, i.e. have the ability to obtain 50% Performance Bond and 50% Material and Labour Payment Bond (evidenced by an Agreement to Bond).
