Walt Disney Magnet School - Dock Ceiling and Pedestrian Walkway Concrete Repair Scope of Work Provide Labor and Materials: Dock Ceiling and Pedestrian Walkway Concrete Repair 1) Patch of Spalled Concrete- 300 SF estimated of concrete that needs to be patched A. Repair spalled concrete on dock ceiling and walkway per CPS standards 2) Crack Repair- 150 LF estimated of cracks that need to be repaired A. Clean and repair cracks in dock ceiling and walkway per CPS standards 3) New Sidewalk- 80 ST estimated of new sidewalk to be installed A. Demolish portion of existing sidewalk and replace to match existing area per CPS standards 4) Concrete Sealer- 600 SF estimated of concrete sealer to be installed A. All area to be sealed per CPS standard 5) Contractor to secure necessary permits. 6) Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all projects listed above before placing bid. 7) Not responsible for contractor errors as a result of non-field verification. 8) Materials and installation must comply with CPS Standards and Specifications as listed on a) SECTION 03 01 00 MAINTENANCE OF CONCRETE b) SECTION 03 45 59 PRECAST ARCHITECTURAL CONCRETE PATCHING 9) Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. 10) If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary. 11) Provide necessary labor and materials to fix/correct issues preventing any or all of the projects to be marked as completed. 12) All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representatives to complete in an agreed upon time frame. 13) Contractor is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debris. 14) All trash must be removed off-site by contractor. 15) Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris. 16) All questions/requests must be received two (2) business days prior to bid closing. GENERAL A. Repair of cracks in concrete. B. Repair of deteriorated concrete. C. Repair of internal concrete reinforcement. Each Bidder must include in their Bid the premium cost for the performance and payment Bond in the full amount of their contract, when the project is over $50,000. If the Bidder fails to furnish the performance bond within seven (7) days after acceptance of the Bidder's Bid, by the Board, the Bid acceptance maybe rescinded and the Bidder maybe precluded from further Bidding with the Board. The performance Bond must be issued by a surety acceptable to the Board and Licensed by the State of Illinois.
