Stream LB-1 Bank Restoration Project The project site is located on the east side of Davis Boulevard and north of Patrick's Path at Channel LB-1 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Repairs of bank erosion are planned for the existing channel east of the box culverts traversing below Davis Boulevard. A large scour/plunge pool has developed east of the David Boulevard culvert with a depth on the order of 6 feet. Hard armoring is planned for the approximately 9-foot-tall banks to consist of a gabion basket system with both vertical walls and gabion lined 1H:1V channel slope. Central Standard Time A certified check or cashier's check or acceptable bidder's bond made payable to the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, in an amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as are required. In the event the total contract amount exceeds $100,000, the Contractor shall be required to execute a performance bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the total contract price; if the total contract amount exceeds $50,000 the contractor shall be required to execute a payment bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the total contact price, each in standard forms for this purpose, guaranteeing faithful performance of work and guaranteeing payment to all persons supply labor and materials or furnishing any equipment in the execution of the contract. It is agreed that this contract shall not be in effect until such performance and payment bonds are furnished and approved by the City of North Richland Hills.
