The Project includes the following Work: Oakmont Basin Retrofit: The Project consists of the retrofit of two existing stormwater basins and the addition of four forebays. The project will be replacing two cross pipes across separate Township roads and consist of excavation and regrading within a steep drainage ditch. Forest Avenue Swale BMP: The project consists of extending an existing outfall pipe and installing a stilling basin, swale grading and installation of two stormwater basins interconnected by a culvert. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
