This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Town of Moosomin ("Purchasing Entity") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Town of Moosomin Water Treatment Plant Generator, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the "Deliverables"). The Town would like to review quotes for three (3) separate options as follows: o Option 1: 125 kW Generator and 150 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch. Option 1 provides power to operate distribution pumping systems and maintain system pressure. This option does not allow the plant to treat water. o Option 2: 200 kW Generator and 200 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch. Option 2 will provide the ability to run distribution systems and the proposed pre-treatment filters without the membrane filtration units. The pre-treatment when used on its own can supply potable water but will not have the final polishing step that the membranes provide. o Option 3: 400 kW Generator and 600 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch. Option 3 will provide the ability to run distribution systems and the proposed treatment systems including pre-treatment and membrane filtration units. Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials or other representatives of Purchasing Entity, other than the RFP Contact, concerning matters regarding this RFP. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proponent and the rejection of the proponent's proposal. Provide generator set and automatic transfer switch to match the requirements shown below, and provide commissioning and operator training of the devices: .1 Provide all equipment and work necessary for the design, delivery, site-testing, commissioning and training as well as documentation for an emergency electrical power generation system complete with associated transfer switch. .2 Supply of exterior duty generator for pad mounting. .3 Generator to be complete with a weatherproof, sound attenuating enclosure .4 Include all valves, regulators etc. required to safely connect to a natural gas supply line .5 Installation support for the contractor that will be installing the equipment .6 Commissioning of the generator and transfer switch .7 Load testing of the generator. .8 Preferred supply is the generator and automatic transfer switch be by the same supplier. .9 Supplier to demonstrate technical support within the province or an adjacent province and specify a response time for a technician to be on site.
