RESURFACE APPROX. 2.58 MILES OF STREETS WITH CHIP AND SEAL Small business and minority owned business sources are encouraged to bid on this project. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be attached to all bids as a guarantee that the successful bidder will within ten (10) days from the date of notice of award, enter into contract and file the required bonds, and furnish a certificate of Workers' Legals Compensation and General Contractors Liability Insurance. The Town of Sharon reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or technicalities without assigning any reason therefore, and to make the awards in the best interest of the Owner. (Bid shall be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder). No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bids are solicited and a contract award will be made pursuant to the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 as amended (Title 61, O.S. 1981, Sections 101-136 et seq.).
