Site work and paving for a civil project in Pleasureville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Shelby County Road Department and the Shelby County Fiscal Court are advertising for bids for repair work on Bunk Road. Description of work to be done below Demo the existing turn lane off of Cedarmore Road, re-work rock foundation. Remove existing culvert pipe, install new pipe. Install DGA and compact it for concrete area to be redone. Concrete pad is 65'x65'x12" depth @4000PSI with Fiber. One lane of traffic is to be open while working.Road Department will furnish the following items, but contractor does all installation and labor: 1. 18" Culvert pipe 2. All rock-grades #2 and DGA 3. Road closed sign Bids will be received only from bidders qualified by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and a 100% performance bond must be in place before project starts. Materials must meet KYTC specifications at all times Shelby County Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept the bids deemed by it to be in its best interest necessarily the lowest bid; the right to disqualify bids from bidders not deemed to be qualified; the right to disqualify bids deemed to be defective, and the right to waive defects bids where such defects are not deemed significant.
