Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Oroville, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,700-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

This project shall consist of work done at the Centennial Cultural Center located at 1931 Arlin Rhine Memorial Dr, Oroville CA 95965; work is to be completed in a manner that is efficient and timely in order to reduce the time that access to the facility will be reduced. During the life of the project the City is requesting the site be secured with temp fencing for public safety. The Project will consist of: - Demo/removal of approximately 7700 square feet of roofing material - Installation of approximately 6000 square feet of 30 Duro-last or equivalent. - Installation of approximately 1700 square feet of steel roofing. Specs provided at mandatory job walk. - Installation of all flashing and all roof mounted accessories - As needed: painting, repair and or replacement of roofing accessories. - Patching, Cleaning of all exterior surfaces to be painted. Total surface area to be discussed at mandatory job walk. Bidders must possess the following classification(s) of California Contractors License at the time that the Bid Proposal is submitted and at time the Contract for the Work is awarded: B - General Building. The Bid Proposal of a Bidder who does not possess a valid and in good standing Contractors' License in the classification(s) set forth above will be rejected for non-responsiveness. Any Bidder not duly and properly licensed is subject to all penalties imposed by law. No payment shall be made for the Work unless and until the Registrar of Contractors verifies to the City of Oroville that the Bidder awarded the Contract is properly and duly licensed for the Work. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in an amount equal to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal, inclusive of any additive Alternate Bid Item(s). Failure of any Bid Proposal to be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and in the amount required shall render such Bid Proposal to be non-responsive and rejected by the City Of Oroville. Prior to commencement of the Work, the Bidder awarded the Contract shall deliver to the City Of Oroville a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond issued by a California Admitted Surety in the form and content included in the Contract Documents each of which shall be in a penal sum equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The City Of Oroville reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding.
