D264748, PIN XM2202, FA Proj Y001-XM22-023, Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, Richmond Cos., BRIDGE WASHING CONTRACT: Various Bridges, Bid Deposit: 5% of Bid (~ $375,000.00) Washing bridges is a preventative maintenance task and is required on regular basis. The lack of regular washing of the bridges system has resulted in deterioration of vulnerable structures. This project will prolong the useful lives of the state-owned bridges on the state highway system citywide by continuing and expanding the cyclical maintenance treatment of washing bridges. Graffiti removal will also be done on an as-needed basis. The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Fall 2022. Construction is expected to begin in Winter 2022/2023. Construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2024. This project is located in the NEW YORK CITY region and includes the following: Counties BRONX KINGS NEW YORK QUEENS RICHMOND Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page.
