Houston Public Works is requesting bids for providing 6000 feet of pre-stretched wire rope. Vendor shall supply 6000 feet of pre-stretched wire rope (model# SW2563713PS). The total 6000 feet needs to be supplied in lengths no less than 1200 continuous feet (i.e.: 5 spools @ 1200 feet). Wire rope must be new and unused. No alternatives or substitutions will be accepted. Delivery is FOB destination. All freight, shipping/handling charges must be included in the bid price. A purchase order will be awarded based on the best value to the City; both price and deliver lead time will be considered when awarding this bid. Please provide lead time with all bids submitted.
