Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sarasota, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Shade Ave. is included as one of the major north-south bikeways in the City's Mulimodal Connectivity Plan. This project enhances the plans for that bikeway to bike lanes or multi use path and complete sidewalk connections from Webber Street to Fruitville Road where there are several different schools and other points of interest: Alta Vista Elementary, Sarasota High School, several day care centers, Arlington Park Aquatic Complex, Sarasota Y, and Temple Beth Shalom. Project includes bike lanes, curbs and stormwater, sidewalks, lighting and landscaping. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of September 28, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
