Southern California Logistics Airport Authority (SCLAA) is requesting bids to schedule and perform required on-site service for fire extinguishers at SCLA. The contract shall consist of, but not limited to, labor, materials, tools, equipment and supplementary services necessary to complete the work. The term of this contract shall be from the date of award by the Airport Director, until the end 2023 fiscal year (June 30, 2023); with the option to extend the contract for four (4) fiscal years (July 1 through June 30), in one (1) year increments, subject to satisfactory performance as determined by Airport Director or his designee. SCLAA reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to award a contract to the bidder who best meets its requirements. Relevant factors which shall be considered in evaluating the bids are: completeness and accuracy of bid; response time to emergencies; length and nature of warranties; anticipated length of life of materials; percentage mark up on materials supplied; past experiences of SCLAA with the bidder; references from other cities, developers, or municipalities regarding past work done by the bidder; ability to complete the job in the specified time with the specified quality of workmanship; as well as the lowest and best price. Service Provider shall not hire or employ any person to perform work within the City or SCLA or allow any person to perform work required under this Agreement unless such person is properly documented and legally entitled to be employed within the United States.
