DPW Garage Door Replacement: The Town of Blackstone is seeking bids from qualified contractors to remove and replace the overhead doors at the Highway Garage located at 51 Elm Street. Remove 4 existing garage doors and pedestrian door, install 3-10'2"x12'& 1-10'6"x12'. The scope of work includes: Remove 4 existing garage doors and pedestrian door Install 3 - 10' 2" X 12' and 1 - 10' 6" X 12' Weather breaker 175 Commercial Insulated (R16.4 insulation-polyurethane foam core) garage doors Full 1 3/4 " thick garage doors, two coats baked-on polyester paint system in white Twenty-five gauge embossed exterior skin w/three 24" X 8" insulated windows 15" steel galvanized track-torsion springs All hinges and brackets to be minimum 14-gauge galvanized steel double end stile and exterior weatherstrip moldings installed 4 - T501L5 1/2 HP Liftmaster Commercial MYO Technology Elite Series garage door electric operators( or equivalent), 3-button control station installed Additional Labor: Rebuild 4' X 16' section of wall w/2" X 6" pressure treated wood, complete with commercial siding. Reframe garage door 1 and 2 openings and 32" (pedestrian) door. Replace steel (pedestrian) door. All wood materials, insulation & siding cost to be included in bid price Removal and disposal of existing materials
