Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Rolesville, North Carolina. For those unable to attend in person, a link to the simultaneousvideoconference will be available to registered plan holders as of the day before the meeting. A new, single story, pre engineered metal building with a storage/equipment mezzanine andrelated site work. The new facility will house the Town of Rolesville Public Works operations. Thebuilding contains office areas plus warehouse storage, workshop, and service bays. The site workincludes earthwork, paving, landscaping and utilities. The building work includes plumbing, fireprotection, HVAC and electrical work. The project also includes the delegated design of preengineered metal building system and a fire protection sprinkler system. The State Department of Administration requires participation by minority or womenownedbusinesses according to General Statue 143 128.1(a). The Town of Roleseville has set aparticipation goal at 15%. Bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for addenda and other pertinent documents. Town of Rolesville as owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason. Payment applications will be processed monthly based on work completed. Retainage of 5% ofcontract amount will be withheld until completion of any and all punch list items. IBI Group will review all pay applications within 5 days of submittal and forward withrecommendation to the Town of Rolesville. After contractor receives written notice to proceed by way of signed contract with owner, aconstruction schedule is to be submitted to IBI Group within 14 days. Contractor will not be held responsible for delays outside of their control, such as unusual weather. Contractor is responsible for notifying IBI Group in writing as to any anticipateddelays and the reasons for same. Contractor will be assessed liquidated damages in amount of$500.00 per day after the Substantial Completion date established in the construction contract. All contractors must have licenses under State laws for respective trades. Bid bonds equal to not less than of bid amount will be required. For the duration of theproject only. Please NOTE again; payments WILL NOT BE MADE until work is completed andaccepted by owner and architect. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
