SITE WORK ASSOCIATED WITH THE NEW BUILDING AT HOLLY AVENUE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, as per specifications contained in Bid Nos. 700:2223 Site work may include the building foundation, utilities, and landscaping Bidders must be prequalified at least 5 days before bid opening in order to bid on this project. Subcontractors utilizing Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing licenses must also be prequalified. Please email Jaime Morales at jmorales@ausd.net to get a copy of the prequalification application. All bids shall be received at the Purchasing Office of the Arcadia Unified School District, 150 S. Third Avenue, Arcadia, CA 91006 and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked as follows: SITE WORK ASSOCIATED WITH THE NEW BUILDING AT HOLLY AVENUE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BID NO. 700:2223 The General contractor is required to assure that all subcontractors meet all requirements and certifications of the specifications at the time of bid. All bids shall be made on bid forms furnished by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to contract documents. Copies of all Bid and Contract docs will be available and provided only at the Job Walk. Questions regarding the project should be directed to Tony Barrios at tbarrios@ausd.net and Jaime Morales at jmorales@ausd.net. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities on any bid or bidding. All attendees shall meet on the back of the school on Le Roy Avenue and Holly Avenue. Attendance is mandatory and attendees must sign in and sign out. It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the general prevailing rate per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of workman needed to execute the contract based on a working day of eight (8) hours. The rate for holiday and overtime work shall be at time and one half. Certified Payroll will be required for this project. This job requires a B Contractor's License Per SB 854 Public Works Contractor Registration Program, as of March 1, 2015 contractors must be registered with DIR in order to bid on public works projects In Accordance with EC 17076.11, the District has a participation goal of 3 percent for DVBE for requirements. No bidder may withdraw the bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening bids.
