The Lufkin Independent School District (Lufkin ISD) is accepting proposals for the purchase of Maintenance/Grounds Equipment. Please complete Bid Price Form A for the equipment items that pertain to your proposal and submit the Bid Price Form A and all bid documents with the Proposal. The Equipment bids may be awarded to multiple vendors. The district may renew with an awarded vendor and negotiate pricing for the item(s) in the RFP, for four (4) additional, one-year extensions, as deemed appropriate by Lufkin ISD. Bid prices must be firm for one-year from date of award for bid to be considered. A renewal bid will be based on all prices being agreed upon by both parties. Any changes in pricing or services during the award year shall be reported to the Lufkin ISD Director of Purchasing and will remain the responsibility of the provider. Maintenance Equipment pricing will commence October-September. After the evaluation of all proposals, a vendor may or may not be recommended to the Lufkin ISD Board of Trustees at a scheduled meeting. If approval is granted for a particular Equipment item by the Board of Trustees, a Notification of Award will be emailed to qualifying proposers. Lufkin ISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept any proposal deemed most advantageous to the district. If additional information should be required, questions should be submitted in writing via email by October 5, 2022 at noon to: trhobbs@lufkinisd.org During the solicitation process and until an award has been announced, communication regarding this RFP will only be permitted with the Procurement Agent named below via email. Communication with a District employee other than the Procurement Agent named below may disqualify your Proposal from consideration. District staff will review the Proposals received in response to this RFP during the consideration period commencing on October 11, 2022. During the consideration period, the District may ask questions and/or request additional information from suppliers who have submitted bids. Vendor awarded date (pending Board approval): 6:00 p.m., October 20, 2022 Lufkin ISD Board of Trustees Meeting.
