The work to be constructed is located in two locations in the City of Perris, Riverside County, California. Construction, testing, and startup of the new Murrieta Road Booster Station and complete demolition and abandonment of the existing Murrieta Road Booster Station (B0026) is to be completed as follows: Construction of a new 10,000 gallon per minute (gpm) (firm), 15,000 gpm (total) potable water booster pump station including mass grading; steel piping up to 36-inch diameter; site work including paving, block wall, gates; masonry booster station building; pumps, valving, fittings, appurtenances; emergency generator; HVAC; electrical and telemetry; security system; disinfection and pressure testing; start-up demonstration testing; and traffic control. The new booster station is located on the west side of Murrieta Road approximately 1,000 feet north of Watson Road in the City of Perris. Q&A Deadline 07/24/2023 5:00 PM (PDT) Demolition and abandonment of the existing partially buried Murrieta Road Booster Station (B0026) including the removal, disposal, and/or salvaging of: pavement; concrete structures; mechanical equipment including pumps, piping, valving, engines; electrical and telemetry equipment; vaults; septic system; hazardous materials including asbestos containing materials and lead based paints; and existing electrical and gas services. The Work also includes backfill and leveling of the site, restoration, and traffic control. The existing booster station (B0026) is located on the west side of Murrieta Road approximately 900 feet north of Ethanac Road in the City of Perris. The General Contractor is responsible for complying with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), such as, the DISTRICT mitigation monitoring and reporting program (recommended mitigation measures) as proposed in the final Initial Study / Mitigated Negative Declaration adopted by the Board on February 20, 2019. Contractor shall, upon completion of all work required herein, initially operate all components of the Contract Work installed or furnished and installed by him, and make any additional, adjustments, corrections, repairs, replacements, and reconstruction's necessary to provide District with a complete, correctly operating booster station, and appurtenances.
