The City of Marble Falls has been awarded funding from the Texas Development Board (TWDB) for Flood Infrastructure Fund to Plan, Design and Construct the Backbone Tributary Bypass Channel in Marble Falls, Texas and intends to enter into a contract with a consulting engineering firm as a professional service provider of the preliminary and final design plans, permitting, bid documents, and necessary interim and final inspections required for the implementation of the project. Engineering Firm must be registered to practice in the State of Texas. Questions received after October 7, 2022 may not be answered prior to submittal deadline. As of November 17, 2025, a timeline to select a design firm has not been established. Further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified.
