The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from Responsible Respondents to provide the goods and/or services identified on the RFP cover sheet and further described in Section 4 of this RFP to the Agency identified on the RFP cover sheet. The Agency intends to award a Contract(s) for the initial period identified on the RFP cover sheet, and the Agency, in its sole discretion, may extend the Contract(s) for up to the number of annual extensions identified on the RFP cover sheet. The Contract shall have an initial term of three years not to exceed 6 years, beginning on the date of contract execution (the "Effective Date"). At the end of the Contract's initial term, the State shall have the option, in its sole discretion, to renew the Contract on the same terms and conditions for up to a total of an additional three year term, not to exceed a total contract term of six (6) years additional three-year terms. The State will give the Vendor written notice of its intent whether to exercise each option no later than 60 days before the end of the Contract's then-current term RFP written questions, requests for clarification, and suggested changes from Respondents due 10/12/2022 2:00 PM CT The minimum number of days following the deadline for submitting proposals that the Respondent guarantees all proposal terms, including price, will remain firm is 120 Days. The Contract may require the Respondent to provide security for performance [e.g. performance bond, escrow, letter of credit, liquidated damages]. Agency shall retain ten percent (10%) of each payment due under the Contract. Agency shall pay the retained amount only after all Deliverables have been completed by Contractor and accepted by the Agency. The Agency reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals received in response to this RFP at any time prior to the execution of the Contract. Issuance of this RFP in no way constitutes a commitment by the Agency to award a contract.
