Generator Maintenance for City Facilities ALL questions pertaining to this Request (RFP or RFQ) must be submitted in writing at least five (5) business days prior to the deadline for submission to: Mike Anderson Building Services Supervisor City of Champaign 702 Edgebrook Drive Champaign, IL 61820 Facsimile: 217-403-4754 Email: mike.anderson@champaignil.gov All questions must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager by October 4, 2022. The preferred method for inquiries is by email to mike.anderson@champaignil.gov. Oral explanations or instructions will not be binding. If required by the RFP/RFQ, accompanying this Proposal is a bank draft, bank cashier's check, certified check or bid bond issued by a surety licensed to do business in Illinois, or letter of credit, complying with the requirements of the specifications and instructions, made payable to the City of Champaign in the amount set forth in Section III. If this Proposal is accepted and the undersigned shall fail to execute a contract or submit evidence of insurance, performance bond or other documents as required, it is hereby agreed that the amount of the check, letter of credit, draft or bond shall become the property of the City, and shall be considered as payment of damages due to delay and other injuries suffered by the City because of the failure to execute said contract; otherwise, said check, letter of credit, draft, or bond, shall be returned to the undersigned as provided for in the Request. This shall be a one-year agreement, with services to be performed on a semi-annual basis (two total). The services provided shall include all necessary parts, labor, and travel. The City reserves the right to waive technicalities or to accept or reject any proposal or combination of proposals based upon the City's determination of its best interest.
