The project has been awarded with the amount of $9,557,603.40 Bid requested for WEBB BR RD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT & ROAD IMPROVEMENT including, but not limited to, roadway construction & widening; installation of curb & gutter, sidewalks, storm drain structures & pipes; construction of retaining walls; replacement of bridge; installation of pedestrian lighting, landscaping, & related work. The work is along Webb Br Rd between N. Point Pkwy & Big Creek Greenway within City. Issued under authority of City of Alpharetta Procurement Policy, following Georgia & Federal applicable laws. City has right to reject all bids, to reject any bid that has not followed or met Citys specifications (non-responsive) or reject any bid that shows that bidder cannot meet one or more requirements (non-responsibility). City has right to ignore unimportant mistakes that do not affect the work or pricing in order to award a contract that is in best interest of the City. Land Disturbance Permits from City will be issued for project. NOI will be submitted prior to NTP. EPD permit will be obtained by NTP. Stream buffer variance approved. The City has applied for USACOE wetland. Wetland permit expected to be approved prior to construction NTP. All anticipated rights of way and/or easements required for project will be obtained by NTP. Schedule of Items will be used as primary representation of Bidders price. Award of project will be by base bid plus any selected alternates. Awarded Contractor required to continuously pursue Work without interruption to completion, and achieve Final Completion of Work in 900calendar days. Liquidated damages will apply per GDOT Standard Specifications for Construction of Transportation Systems 2021 Section 108.08. Bidders required to submit 5% bid bond of bid price with each bid prior to bid due date/time. Payment & Performance bonds in amount of 100% awarded bid will be required from awarded contractor. Performance bond must have provision to keep bridge in good condition for a period of not less than seven years.
