Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Polo, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This maintenance project consists of grading and shaping previously installed aggregate patches in various city streets. The application of bituminous material (Tack or Prime coat) to various streets. The installation of 1.5" - 2.5" of HMA binder to the previously installed patches. The cold milling of roadway edges. Milling is 6' wide from curb edge. The resurfacing of the entire roadway width of various streets with 1.5" of HMA surface course. Approximately 0.8 miles of the city of Polo streets are affected by this project.
