THPRD provides park and recreation activities to more than 240,000 residents in eastern Washington County. THPRD's service area encompasses more than 50 square miles and includes parts of Southwest Portland, the City of Beaverton, Aloha, and the unincorporated area west of Beaverton. THPRD's mission statement is as follows: The mission of the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District is to provide high-quality park and recreational facilities, programs, services, and natural areas, that meet the needs of the diverse communities it serves Due to national delays in manufacturing THPRD is procuring a new boiler in fall 2022 with the anticipation of a late spring/earlier summer installation. If needed, the new boiler can be delivered and stored at THPRD's Fanno Creek Service Center warehouse prior to installation. This project requires an Oregon licensed contractor with 5+ years public works experience for the removal of existing boiler, and installation of a new Smith Series 19HE-11 steam boiler that includes Power Flame gas modulating burner A. This boiler replacement will be carried out under one General Construction Agreement covering the construction work on this project. These Instructions To Bidders amend or supplement any other provisions of the Bidding and Contract Documents. This agreement includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and services necessary for and reasonably incidental to the completion of all work in connection with the project described in this Project Manual and all accompanying Drawing
