The proposed contract is for approximately 625 feet of metal guardrail construction along roadway at Sans Bois Wildlife Management Area. Sans Bois Wildlife Management Area is in southeast Haskell County, near the town of McCurtain, Oklahoma. Additional directions will be given to the awarded bidder upon contract award. Construction of guardrail will follow the attached FHWA diagram for low volume roadways. Guardrail posts will be installed two (2) foot away from the roadbed edge, with post height sufficient to meet specifications as pertaining to height of guardrail above roadway, and depth. Vendor is to provide all labor and equipment to complete the work as required. Project must be completed within 90 days of contract award. All work will be done as directed by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) Area Biologist or ODWC Area Wildlife Technician. Performance Bond for 100% of the value of the Contract to insure completion of the Work. Defect Bond for 100% of the value of the Contract to provide correction of defects in the construction and equipment for one year after acceptance of the Work; and Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract to assure that the Owner is protected from the action of Subcontractors, suppliers and employees for unpaid debts of the Contractor. Vendor is to provide all labor and equipment to complete the work as required. Project must be completed within 90 days of contract award. All work will be done as directed by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) Area Biologist or ODWC Area Wildlife Technician.
