Remodeling of a municipal facility in Ashland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
Bids shall include all labor, materials, equipment, special tools, and services required to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents. Sealed bids will be received for the General Construction Contract. The probable contract cost for the base bid construction contract is $ 325,000. Plans and specifications for the Project may be obtained from VSWC Architects, 414 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040; phone (513) 398-4931; email brad@vswc.com. Each proposal shall contain the name of every person interested therein. Each proposal shall meet the regulations of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either a Bid Bond for the full amount of the bid (including add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount (including add alternates), in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No bids may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Ashland County, Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such review as necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder submitting a bid for the Project.
