Furnishing Labor, Materials and Equipment for Inspecting and Cleaning Port of Oakland Sanitary Sewers and Storm Drains for the Period Commencing January 1, 2023 and Ending December 31, 2023, 2024 or 2025 Oakland, California The work of this annual contract consists generally of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, and incidentals necessary for inspecting and cleaning sanitary sewer lines, storm drains, and manholes as described in the Contract Documents. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Inspection of sanitary sewers and storm drains must be performed by a certified National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program PACP trained operator using established PACP coding and observations. The work may also include minor sewer pipeline repairs necessary to complete sewer line inspection and cleaning. The estimated cost of the work that may be performed under this contract is approximately $250,000 per year. A California Class A or Class C-42 contractor's license is required to bid this Contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded any contract for the project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5, with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a). This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The Contractor and all Subcontractors must pay their employees performing labor under this Contract salaries or wages at least equal to the general prevailing wage rates in effect at the time of advertising for bids, as determined by the Director of the DIR, for the particular crafts, classifications or types of workers employed on the project. The meeting will address the Port's Non-Discrimination and Small/Local Business Utilization Policy, insurance requirements, bonds, and any other special working conditions for this contract. There will be no site inspection tour.
