Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Cody, Wyoming. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The construction of a stand-alone building on the Law Enforcement Center Complex property for the primary purpose of storing police special purpose vehicles and the long-term storage of large item evidence and hazardous materials. The project is recommended for three (3) phases Phase I - Includes retaining a reputable architectural/engineering consultant with knowledge and experience with Law Enforcement facilities to conduct a needs assessment, site analysis, and to develop plans, specification and construction documents for constructing the Long-Term Evidence and Police Specialty Vehicle Storage Facility. Phase II - Includes a formal bidding process to review and evaluated prospective contractors and construction costs. Phase III - Construction. As of September 30, 2022, this project is included in the City of Cody's FY 2022-2031 Budget CIP and funding for construction is allocated for 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
