Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project contemplated herein consists of cleaning and painting piping, and installing PVC covers over existing insulated piping. All contractor and subcontractor employees shall obtain specific site plant safety training from Veolia Water prior to working on the site. Veolia Water will offer a total of two onehour training sessions to the contractor and any subcontractors. The Contractor shall adhere to all Veolia Water safety policy and procedures. The time for completion of the Contract shall be forty-nine (49) days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Questions pertaining to the proposed work should be directed to Larry Koch, (412) 417-0431. Veolia Water reserves its rights to reject any Bid, to reject all Bids, and any bid not conforming to the intent of the invitation for bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time not exceeding forty-five(45) days from the bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm and may not be withdrawn during this forty-five(45) day period. Veolia Water reserves its rights to waive any informality or deficiency in any Bid, to accept any Bid, to negotiate modifications of any Bid with any Bidder and accept any modified Bid, and to rebid the Project, all at Veolia Water's sole discretion. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES The amount of liquidated damages shall be $75.00 per day.
