Renovation of a municipal facility in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Rehabilitation of Courthouse Restrooms and Water System, The Project Consists of Replacing Water Supply Lines, Remodeling Restrooms for Handicap Accessibility and Installing Water Heaters in All Levels of the Courthouse. Bids Will Be Received for a Prime Contractor on a Lump Sum and Unit Price Basis as Indicated in the Bid Form. Contractors Shall Enter the South Entrance and Report to Kenny Kisner. Bid Security Shall Be Furnished in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. The Contractor and Sub-contractors Shall Not Pay Less Than the Prevailing Rates of Wages as Found by the Dept. Of Labor or as Determined by the Court of Appeal, to All Laborers, Workmen, and Mechanics Performing Work Under This Contract, and Shall Comply With the Requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 Ilcs 130/1-12). Also, the Contractor Must Ensure That Employees and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Their Race, Color, Religion, Sex, or National Origin.
