The Dracut Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Roofing Contractors for the Community Building Roof Replacement & Related Work at the 65 Phineas Street Housing Development for the Dracut Housing Authority in Dracut, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Raymond T. Guertin, Architect.The Project consists of: Replacement of approximately 2,245 square feet of shingle and membrane roofing including all related work as shown on the Drawings and in the Project Manual at all pitched and flat roofs at the Phineas Street Community Building. Bids are subject minimum wage rates as required by inclusive and Federal Davis Bacon wage rates. Pursuant to HUD Public Housing Development Rule, 24 CFR ch. IX A 941.503(d), whenever any prevailing wage rate determined under Massachusetts law exceeds the corresponding federally determined wage rate on this project, the Massachusetts rate is inapplicable to the contract and shall not be enforced against the contractor or any subcontractor with respect to employees engaged under the contract.Bid Deposit - Not required. The work is estimated to cost $34,000.00.
