Renovation of an educational facility in Versailles, Kentucky. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration on behalf of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System / Gateway CTC seeks the services of a consulting mechanical engineer to design, manage and commission the Mechanical Equipment Upgrades at the Gateway Community and Technical College. The goal of the project is the strategic replacement equipment (such as: boilers and chillers, cooling towers, interior and exterior lighting, pumps, VAV boxes, but not limited to this list). The determination of which equipment is to be replaced is a part of the design work and involves the evaluation and analysis of energy savings to be experienced from the replacements. Another part of this project is to completely replace the building automation system at Gateway CTC. KCTCS plans to utilize GSA contracts to provide the ALC parts for the controls. Ultimately the goal is to modernize the college facilities equipment with a focus on energy savings going forward. As of October 3, 2023, a design team has been identified.
