Renovation of a municipal facility in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Houston (City), through its Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) is seeking qualified non-profit agencies and City of Houston departments to acquire, renovate, or construct workforce training facilities through the Public Facilities Development and Renovation Program. The Program serves low to moderate-income populations located within the corporate boundaries of the City of Houston and is funded primarily under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). It is the responsibility of each applicant to electronically generate and examine the entire NOFA, seek clarification in writing and review their submittal for accuracy before submitting their application. Questions must be submitted to Andrea Smith via email at andrea.smith@houstontx.gov. All questions submitted in writing prior to the pre-application questions deadline will be answered by letter of clarification and posted on the website noted above. HCD will not be bound by any information conveyed verbally. For additional information, please contact Andrea Smith at (832) 394-6249 or via email HCD is conducting a pre-application conference on October 12, 2022 at 10am. The pre-application conference will be held virtually through Microsoft Teams. The amount of funding available for the CDBG Public Facilities Development and Renovation Program NOFA is approximately $4,000,000.00.
