Town of Huntertown Wellfield Expansion 2022: Contract B ("Project^'). Summary: Located at the existing Huntertown Water Treatment Plant at the northwest corner of Carroll Road and Lima Road in Allen County, Indiana, the wellfield expansion will include wellhead site improvements including valving, fencing, and meter vault; connection of well to existing raw water main; electrical and controls installation; and surface restoration . Drilling of a 12" municipal public water supply well; installation of a 12" steel casing and 12" 50 slot screen with submersible well pump and accessories; and VFD procurement will be by others under a separate contract. All qualified Contractors are invited to bid the work.No paper copies will be provided by the owner. Bids shall be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope marked with the project title and include the name and address of the Bidder. Bids shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond or certified check equal to of the bid amount. Bids arriving after the time set will be returnecTunopened and only complete bids with all required materials will be considered Review and Consideration: All bids timely received shall be opened and read aloud at 1:00 p.m. October 25, 2022. The Town of Huntertown, Indiana reserves the right to reject all bids, waive defects and amend the Project's scope.
