Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oneonta, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The description of work below is generalized; Bidders shall refer to the construction drawings for additional detail information. The proposed work includes the removal of existing concrete pavement, granite unit pavers (to be salvaged and reinstalled), concrete stairs, lawn, vegetation, site furnishings, lighting, and other utilities. Included in the construction is concrete pavement, reinstalled granite unit pavers on rigid base, flush granite curb, new stone seat and retaining walls, new sign wall and enhanced landscape. Also included in the work is underground conduit and wiring including required handholes and pole bases, grounding rods and associate copper wire connections for reinstalled light poles, fixtures, and new conduit from the Welcome Center to the plaza including handholes and storm sewerage. All work on this Contract is to be completed within May 22, 2023, and August 19, 2023 (substantial completion) with planting completed by Nov. 1, 2023. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and service-disabled veteran owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The University hereby establishes an overall goal of 30% for MWBE participation, 10% for Minority-Owned business Enterprises (MBE) participation, 20% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) participation and an overall goal of 6% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business enterprises (SDVOB) participation.
