For Los Altos High School ADA Improvements All bidders must be on the Districts approved CUPCCAA list prior to the time and date that bids are due. Contractors shall have until 3:00 pm Friday October 7, 2022 to submit questions regarding the bid, specifications, and requirements. Questions shall be submitted to Joel Duarte at the email address below. Contractors shall be responsible for checking the Districts website electronically for bid addenda. No bid can be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or Bidder's bond in the form as outlined in the bid documents, for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the order of the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. The check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the Bidder shall execute the Contract in accordance with the bid documents. Payment and performance bonds will be required from the awarded contractor. Contractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and are required to have a valid California Contractors License: Classification C-8. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularity therein.
