Information regarding future solicitations has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The State of Delaware, Department of Health and Social Services, is soliciting letters of interest from Architectural/Engineering teams for DHSS/DMS Contract No. HSS-22- 060-DPCFS - New Delaware Psychiatric Center Feasibility Study. The project is to complete a study for a new Delaware Psychiatric Center facility to replace the existing facility located in New Castle, Delaware. A specific site has not been determined, but will be located on the Herman Holloway Campus, New Castle, Delaware. The selected firm will begin the programming and planning process with Delaware Health and Social Services, DSAMH staff. They may also assist DHSS with site selection and land planning requirements. The selected firm will complete a conceptual design study to determine the relative size and configuration of a new secure hospital facility and complete a conceptual cost estimate to be used for capital budget planning for the project. The selected team will be required to have the typical building engineering disciplines on their team (structural and mechanical/electrical/plumbing MEP) as well as a civil engineering firm. Applicants for this RFP should be organizations that have had extensive experience in planning and designing psychiatric and hospital facilities. The State reserves the right to enter into additional contracts with the successful firm/team for professional services for the design and construction of the future facility as recommended as a result of this study, or to select another firm/team altogether pursuant to requirements outlined in the Delaware Code. Respondent bears the risk of late delivery. Any proposals received after the stated time will be returned unopened. Responses shall include: o demonstrated experience with projects of similar nature o organizational structure (personnel) established for the project including sub-consultants and previous experience (frequency) working with them o defined approach firm/team will implement o knowledge of sites and project requirements o geographical location of main or branch office that will be assigned the project o familiarity with public works (including work in the State of Delaware, the Delaware Code and other local requirements) o fees received by the firm for State of Delaware public works projects in the last five years (include breakdown) The department seeks to apportion work equitably to interested and qualified firms. The above criteria will be used to select a firm to perform these services. All information shall be submitted on GSA Forms 254 and 255, SF 330 or equivalent. Respondents are reminded that the project engineer and architect for this work must be registered in the State of Delaware. Selected firms who reply will be given notice of times and dates for scheduled interviews. Facsimile submittals are not acceptable.
