The Town of Tofte is now accepting written quotes for snow removal from December 1, 2022, to April 1, 2023, on the Gitchi-Gami Bike Trail in Tofte from the Surfside Resort to the Cliff Dweller Hotel. The quote should be based on a per time for a 4" snowfall on the ground using the snow on the ground at the Tofte Post Office as the official depth. Other details are as follows: 1. The snow should be cleared a minimum width of 5 feet or 60 inches; not the entire width of the path and must be done within 48 hours of the snowfall. Provider must carry a minimum liability insurance policy of not less than $1,000,000 as well as workers compensation insurance as required by law. Proof of insurance must accompany quote. The Town of Tofte reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Questions should be directed to Kay Spielman, 218-401-0229.
