The project site is located approximately a quarter mile west from the intersection of 97th St and 198th Ave NE. The second culvert is approximately A quarter mile north of 170th Ave NE on 125th St Glenburn. The work consists of the following approximate quantities: 48in x40in CMP Each 2 48" Flared End Sections Each 4 Riprap Ton 336 Gravel Ton 224 Installation of Culverts LS 2 Dredging LS 2 All bids are to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials, accompanied by a bidder's bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid, executed by the bidder as principal, and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of North Dakota, as a guarantee that the bidder will do business in the State of North Dakota, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract for performance of such work in case the contract is awarded to him. All bid security shall comply with Section 11 11 28 and amendments thereto of the North Dakota Century Code. In the event NDCC Section 11 11 28 is deemed not to be applicable as a matter of law, then in the alternative, the Ward County Commission applies its discretionary power to apply NDCC Section 11 11 28 and all bid security shall comply fully. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids, as provided by Section 3 07 05 of the North Dakota Century Code. The Contractor shall give (10) days' notice prior to starting any construction work and shall complete the project no later than August 1, 2023. Margaret Township reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and to hold bids for a period not to exceed Thirty (30) days from the date of opening.
