In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 2254, Subchapter A, Professional Services, and Rules and Procedures adopted by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC), TFC is requesting submittal of qualifications to provide prime professional mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering services and other related professional and technical services as required to address multiple undetermined interior and/or exterior alterations to existing facilities primarily located in Austin, Texas. No work is guaranteed under this Contract. The size, quantity, and duration of project(s) assigned to the successful Professional Engineer (PE) will vary depending on the number and types of projects requested by TFC's client agencies. The contract compensation will be structured as an "hourly-not-to-exceed" fee per project with a total contract cap of $240,000.00 per contract term. PE will proceed with the work on individual projects only after the fee and scope proposal is formally approved and documented by the Contract Administrator, a Purchase Order is issued, and a "Notice to Proceed" is provided. Deadline for Submission of Questions 10/18/2022 12:00 PM NOON Expected Contract Start Date 12/01/2022 It is the intention of TFC to award a Contract for full prime professional engineering services for the term of the project which shall expire on 8/31/2024. The contract may be renewed for one additional two-year period upon mutual agreement of both parties. Renewals shall be at the same terms and conditions plus any approved changes. Project-specific assignments may be awarded within the time frame during which the contract agreement is valid. To remain valid, all qualifications must be updated by the PE to reflect any significant changes in the PE's ownership, structure, or method of operation, or when requested by TFC. Duration of the services for each specific project will be negotiated and documented in the PE proposal for each proposed project. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
