Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Sauk Village, Illinois. Design plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of June 11, 2024, per owner, engineer has been identified. Contractor bidding isn't until early 2027 with construction in Summer 2027. The Village of Sauk Village is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from IDOT-prequalified engineering firms for Phase I Design Engineering Services for the Sauk Trail and Torrence Avenue Pedestrian Improvements. This project is being funded with RTA and Invest in Cook Grant money and consultant selection will be in accordance with the Qualification Based Selection (QBS) guidelines in the Brooks Act (40 USC 11) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requirements for Procurement, Management, and Administration of Engineering and Design Related Services (23 CFR 172). Consultant interviews will not be conducted. Consultants will be evaluated in the following areas: Firm's Experience: Team's Experience and Qualifications, including Subconsultants; Key Personnel Expertise/Past Performance, including Subconsultants; Technical Approach to Project and Local Presence. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
