Renovation of a municipal facility in Regina, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
SATCC invites proposals for a tenant improvement project at 2nd floor, 2221 Cornwall St, Regina, SK S4P 2L1. Tenant Improvement floor plan details: 1. Sound insulation installed in the walls of the center office and refinished. Insulated interior door for sound. Power and ethernet for three cubicle spaces. 2. Office/special sit room; installation of sound proofing in walls and an insulated door for sound proofing. Installation of power and data cabling for one computer station and ceiling mounted video/audio camera with microphone and connected to the two invigilator tables for external monitoring of exam in office/special sit room. 3. 120V power outlets and ethernet cabling/connections for two work/monitoring/invigilator stations located at opposite ends of the large exam room. One computer station at each location. 4. Sink/plumbing/power outlets installed at front service counter for coffee maker, microwave, small fridge. Hand towel and soap dispenser installed beside sink. 5. Large Exam room/classroom: power and ethernet cables/termination points for 40 computer stations in total. Break down; 8 drop poles and 40 computer stations as per table plan. Computer stations are 4 feet wide each. Power and data cable for six ceiling mounted cameras. 6. Existing electrical/Lan panels are located approximately 50 feet away down the hallway. 7. The project will include all finished surfaces to be completed and matching. No interpretation of the meaning of the documents (drawings, floor plans, specifications, et al.) will be made to any proponent outside the bidder meeting. Submission Guidelines SATCC invites proposals for a tenant improvement to be marked attention COO and submitted in a sealed envelope to 2140 Hamilton St, Regina, SK S4P 2E3. Based on previous work experience, your company has been selected to receive this RFP and is invited to submit a proposal to complete the tenant improvement as stated in this RFP. This RFP is issued to provide the selection process for construction services. Proposals will be accepted from: a. Individuals operating as independent contractors with a business license. b. Organizations operating as independent contractors with a business license. c. Entities that employ the appropriate Journeypersons and Apprentices for regulatory requirements. d. Entities with proof of WCB coverage. e. Entities that provide a project plan that contains the total cost of the completed project and a completion timeline of 3 months or less. Proposers submitting a response to the RFP will be asked to state and provide copies of: Their qualifications and certifications; understanding experience, certifications, and licensing requirements relating to the project; for meeting the design build criteria and deadlines. Provide a project plan, previous project references, proof of WCB coverage, and a business license. The competitive selection process will be a scoring matrix of the proponent's qualifications, project plan, reference checks with similar projects, and a possible interview. Thoughtful written responses to this RFP will enable the SATCC to select a qualified proposer with the lowest bid. Qualified proposers must submit the items listed in a. through e. Specifications 1. Construction will be warranted for a total of one year from final completion. 2. Refer to existing floor plan. 3. Refer to table floor plan. 4. Refer to Tenant Improvement floor plan. (Edited existing floor plan) 5. Refer to Tenant Improvement floor plan details. 6. Contractor is responsible for all permits and inspections and will provide copies. 7. Contractor is responsible for supply and install of all required construction materials. 8. Contractor is responsible for providing manufacturer documents/manuals from installed equipment. 9. Contractor is responsible for the removal and costs of disposal of all construction materials. 10. Contractor is responsible for matching the existing building finishes. 11. Contractor is responsible for relocating existing infrastructure when appropriate. This will include electrical, mechanical, etc. 12. SATCC will hold back 10% of the total project cost until the completion of project signatures have been completed. 13. Contractor will be responsible to complete the project by March 1, 2023, without penalty. There after penalties may be imposed at $300 per day until final completion is signed off.
