Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Sooke, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: .1 Removal, disposal and replacement of vinyl decking membrane as shown in the Drawings. .2 Removal, disposal and replacement of balcony sliding doors. .3 Removal, disposal and replacement of existing stucco cladding with new vinyl siding on east elevation and by the front entrance of Unit 2 as shown in the Drawings. .4 Removal, disposal and replacement of existing guard-wall vinyl cladding with new vinyl siding complete with new cap flashing and applicable waterproofing transitions. .5 Targeted roof to guard-wall waterproofing repairs at Unit 7. .6 Targeted exterior wall and balcony waterproofing upgrades, as well as applicable waterproofing transitions within the area of work. .7 Removal, disposal and replacement of existing wood guardrail systems with new picketed aluminum face mounted guardrail systems. .8 Removal, disposal and replacement of existing balcony wood partition with new aluminum privacy screen. .9 Provision of new interior wall assembly at Unit 3 where previous exploratory opening was undertaken. .10 Replacement of deteriorated wood framing as directed by the Consultant. Replacement of deteriorated wood framing is additional to the contract. Award is subject to final approval.
