The location of this project is at the existing intersection of Redwine Road, Bernhard Road, and S Peachtree Parkway in south Fayette County, GA. The existing intersection is an all-way stop-controlled intersection. This project scope entails the construction of a roundabout and includes, but is not limited to, roadway and roundabout construction, surveying, clearing and grubbing, earth work, excavation, erosion and sediment control, demolition of pavement, installation of pavement and multi-use path, traffic control, installation of curb & gutters, drainage improvements, landscaping, temporary and permanent signage, lighting, and pavement markings. In addition, the Contractor is responsible for performing water line work as shown in the plans. The water infrastructure will be owned and operated by Fayette County Water System. For all other utilities, the Contractor is responsible for coordinating relocations with the utility companies.
