Bids submitted to any other email account will not be considered as received by the City of Dawson Creek. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that its Bid is received at the above location and by the time stipulated. Bids received after the stipulated time will be rejected and returned to the Bidder unopened. Faxed Bids are not acceptable and will be rejected. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive any informality, incompleteness or error in any bid. This is a Request for Quotations only. The City shall not be obligated in any manner whatsoever to any supplier until a letter of award is received by the bidder. If submissions exceed the permitted email size of the Bidder or the City, Bidders should submit the Bid in multiple emails indicating on each email the total number of emails being sent. Zip Files are not accepted by the City's email server. Please note the City of Dawson Creek remains in Mountain Standard Time year-round and does not observe Daylight Savings Time. All emails must be received by the City no later than the closing time in Dawson Creek, BC. Late submissions will not be accepted or considered. The City will not be liable for any delay or non-receipt of emails for any reason including technological delay or issues by either party's network or email program. The City accepts no responsibility for submissions that fail for any reason to enter into the City of Dawson Creek's system by the closing time. As email transmission can be delayed due to high volumes of internet traffic, file transfer size, transmission speed etc., it is the Bidder's responsibility to submit their Bid sufficiently in advance of the closing time to allow for receipt by the City. Bidders submitting email bids near the deadline do so at their own risk. The City of Dawson Creek invites submission from vendors for the seasonal supply and delivery of approximately 2,500 metric tonnes of 3/8" washed rock per season to the City of Dawson Creek Public Works Yard over a three - season term starting November 1st, 2022 and ending May 1st, 2025.
