Renovation of a library in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
**All contractors/suppliers must pre-qualify with the construction manager prior to submitting a bid.** Only contractors/suppliers who have pre-qualified with the CM will be able to submit a bid** PLEASE READ THE ABOVE NOTE REGARDING PRE-QUALIFYING PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A BID Clarification #1 has been issued as of 10-10-2022. Plans call for the replacement of the HVAC system at the library. Description: Replace portions of existing HVAC equipment and provide some new HVAC equipment in an existing library. Mechanical subcontractors will need to submit lead times of new HVAC equipment with proposals and provide minium size openings needed in the existing ceilings to install the new or replaced HVAC equipment. HVAC subcontractor to include demolition of existing HVAC ductwork and equipment. Demolition subcontractor to remove necessary ceilings. The owner is hoping all of the HVAC equipment can fit through existing doorways. If that is not possible then provide the size wall opening required to install the HVAC equipment. The project is tax exempt. The construction manager is encouraging MBE/DBE participation.
