Project Description: This project involves the removal and proper disposal of the superstructure of conveyor chute at the former Cargill Elevator site in Hennepin, Illinois and is designated as "CONVEYOR CHUTE REMOVAL" Stipulations: A Certified Check or Bank Draft, payable to the order of The Village of Hennepin, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Bidders are advised that all work in this proposal is subject to prevailing wage requirements and The Fair Labor Standards Act The Village of Hennepin reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The Village of Hennepin may award to the lowest responsible bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for forty-five (45) days. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in 100% of the amount of the contract. The form of bond will be satisfactory to the Owner.
