No Bids will be received or considered after the time stated above. If the Bidder is unable to utilize the electronic version, Bid Proposal Forms may be procured at the office of the Village Clerk, ROOM 306, 80 Wheeler Avenue, Pleasantville, New York beginning Bids shall be made on the Proposal forms furnished with the Bid Documents. A Bid Bond, Certified Check or Bank Check in the amount of 5% of bid must accompany the bid proposal. Bidders who submit certified checks must accompany them with a Consent of Surety from a recognized Bonding Company. Checks shall be made payable to the Village of Pleasantville, New York and are to be held by Village as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery of the Contract and bonds to secure the faithful performance thereof. Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside as Janitorial Services for the Village of Pleasantville, NY, Bid 2022-7.The Bidder/ Contractor shall provide the janitorial services outlined on the Bid Form provided herein. The Contractor is responsible for supplying all professional grade cleaning supplies as well as heavy duty, rodent-proof, garbage bags for all garbage pails and all other necessary equipment to perform this service, such as a commercial grade vacuum, pails, mops, sponges, brooms, buffing machine, etc. The Village will only supply toilet paper and hand soap for proper restocking of restrooms. The Contractor is responsible for storing all cleaning supplies in clearly labeled containers. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are to be provided to the Village for all products stored on Village premises. The Contractor's employees are responsible for ensuring that all MSDS are conspicuously maintained at each site where cleaning supplies are stored. The Contractor shall provide a commercial grade machine for the cleaning of any floor tile areas. This machine does not eliminate the need for wet mopping. All floors must be wet mopped after the machine is used. Contractor shall maintain this machine according to manufacturer specifications.
