Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Purcellville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The project is generally described as improving an existing dirt/grass trail with a 6 to 10-foot-wide asphalt multi-use trail within the Town-owned Suzanne R. Kane Nature Preserve. Other elements of the project include a wooden truss bridge, improvements to the existing parking area, drainage, and grading along the proposed trail. The Scope of Work is more fully set forth in the Bid and Contract Documents, which are available for download from the Town's Bid Board. All questions regarding this bid must be received in writing by email at jkeller@purcellvilleva.gov until 5:00 PM on Friday, October 21, 2022. CONTRACTOR shall carry out the WORK within the same time frame allowed in the approved WORK Schedule. The Work shall be substantially complete in 270 days and achieve final completion in 300 days. CONTRACTOR shall carry out Suzanne Kane Nature Trail in the Town of Purcellville, VA, as further described and achieve substantial completion within 270 calendar days and final completion within 300 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed, according to Plans designed by Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc.
